communication systems and social contexts.He has produced many internet

and his field of intervention encompasses genetics, financial networks,
pirate radio, graphity and do-it-yourself media.
-Simon Pope is an artist, software designer and lecturer who works in
London. With the speculative software project, i/o/d, he has reconsidered
the visual mapping of the internet (http://www.backspace.org/iod).
He lectures at University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.
-The Gender Changer Academy is a nonprofit organisation by women for women
aimed to improve women's understanding and skills with regards to computer
hardware.The GCA provides workshops, makes and maintains a website(http://www.genderchangers.org)
and mailinglist, and distributes a reader.
-Jens-Ingo Brodesser is the founder of all2all network(http://www.all2all.org),
a network built from free software aimed at alternative projects, non-profit
making organisations, NGOs, artists and private users.
-Peter Lenaerts (http://www.surfacenoise.be)
is a musician and a new media artist.He worked at the network support
departement in the Belgian Telecoms and developped a sharp understanding
of the infrastructure of networks.
